Despaña Brand Foods only ships within the contiguous United States from Monday to Friday. Customer Service is also available Monday to Friday.

Orders are usually processed within two business days after we receive them. Please consider this turnaround time when placing your order. If you need it to arrive by a specific day, please write this in the notes or contact us.

We ship our orders from Queens, New York. If you are in the following states, meat, cheese, and seafood items can be sent ground and should take 1-2 days in transit. These states are: CT, DE, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WV. If you are not shipping to these states, we recommend meat, cheese, and seafood be sent 2nd or Next-Day, particularly in warm weather.

That said, our cheeses and meats are cured products, and it is not a health hazard for them to be out of refrigeration for a few days. (We do ship with ice packs, but ice only stays frozen for so long.) Some customers successfully choose longer and of course, cheaper shipping --it really just depends on what each customer is comfortable with.

We only guarantee deliveries for orders that meet our shipping conditions, so meats and cheeses shipped 3+ business days in transit are not covered under our policy. Ultimately, it is at each customer's discretion.

Our shipping schedule in order for products to arrive the week of purchase are:

  • Next Day shipping orders will be shipped from Monday to Thursday.
  • 2nd Day shipping orders will be shipped from Monday to Wednesday.
  • 3rd Day shipping orders will be shipped Mondays and Tuesdays.
  • Ground orders will be shipped from Monday to Friday.

All orders that are received after the mentioned due days in each category will be shipped the next Monday so the products arrive in the best possible conditions.

Shipping costs vary depending on the products weight and size, destination and chosen shipping rate.

Despaña reserves the right to keep orders on hold if we are concerned about a product arriving in good condition. We will notify customers by email if their order is on hold.
