EL LOBO Torta Turrón Alicante
Almond & Honey Brittle Cake. For 10 generations, El Lobo, located in Jijona, Spain has been creating turrones like this crunchy cake is a Christmastime staple. Fresh roasted almonds and sweet honey are combined to create this traditional sweet. This round cake aka ‘torta’ uses the same classic recipe as the regular Alicante turrón, with a touch of egg white and a thin wafer.
