NORTINDAL Cuttlefish Ink
Cuttlefish is a type of sepia, which is a relative of the squid. It has long been regarded as having more pristine ink than that of squid, and is better for cooking due to its rich, non-fishy flavor. It adds a punch of flavor, and stunning black color to paellas, rice dishes, pastas and risottos. The beauty is that this squid ink enhances the flavors of each ingredient without overpowering it or tasting too fishy. This ink is pasteurized therefore can be stored unopened for up to 4 years. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 1-2 weeks. No artificial preservatives are added. You may also freeze the squid ink.
