This delicious Horchata de Chufa is a cinnamon and spiced beverage that has been loved by kids and adults alike for generations in Spain. While it is shelf stable and can be left in your pantry, it is always recommended to serve this very COLD after opening! Its flavor will be that much more amazing.
Historically, this beverage comes from tigernuts; a rich root vegetable that is considered to be a superfood! This Mercader horchata is packed with tigernuts, and honors the historical makeup of this beverage that dates all the way back to the 14th century to the town of Alboraya in eastern Spain, where the beverage supposedly has its roots.
