Turrón a la piedra means “stone-ground”, and this bar is made the traditional way: roasted Marcona almonds (60% of the recipe) are ground on stone and lightly flavored with cinnamon and lemon zest. It’s soft and fragrant, with a rich almond flavor. Pablo Garrigós Ibáñez makes it in Alicante, Spain. This version comes vacuum-packed rather than in a gift box, a simple format that keeps it fresh and makes it an easy everyday or stocking-filler turrón. Slice it thin for a dessert board or serve it with coffee or sweet wine.
