CAMPOLLANO QUESO DE OVEJA AHUMADO (Smoked Sheep's Milk)
A smoked cheese that's subtle enough for beginners and interesting enough for cheese lovers. Campollano's sheep's milk cheese is aged 6 months and gently smoked, which adds warm, woodsy depth to its smooth, creamy texture. It earned a gold medal at the 2016 ICA awards.
Made by Food Manchegos S.L. in Poblete, Ciudad Real, it works as both a snacking cheese and a cooking cheese. Pair it with Spanish chorizo and crusty bread, melt it into a grilled sandwich, or serve it alongside a dry red wine or a cold beer.
Pickup Information
Pickup is only available from Despaña Fine Foods & Tapas Cafe in SoHo. Orders need to be placed 24 hours in advance of pickup.
