La Carreta Dry Verdina Beans. This may be a lesser known bean, but the Verdina Bean, or Green Bean, has a delicious taste and has a fine and smooth skin that doesn't’ crack when cooked. Due to the limited production, and the labor needed to harvest these beans explains its higher price point, and therefore valued by many chefs. It’s buttery texture and softness make them an ideal pairing for seafood dishes.
