Although Spain is home to over a dozen types of almonds, Marcona almonds are the most prized and popular. They are more rounded and plumper than the almonds that many Americans are accustomed to. They are also moister, sweeter, and more delicate tasting than regular supermarket almonds. (We also sell a salted, fried version.)
